BRIEF HISTORY OF
CHRIST APOSTOLIC MISSION CHURCH
Christ Apostolic Mission Church (Oke Igbala) (C.A.M.C.) was founded on 13th December, 1952 by Late Apostle J.A. Agbona (JP) under the directive of God.
Baba Agbona gave out all that he had then except his single shirt and a short as he was divinely mandated. Also, Baba sold off his cherished duck and its eggs to the first bidder and travelled to Alakija in Lagos, where the Lord had instructed him to go to Bar Beach there for a seven day fasting and prayer session. After Baba had undergone the seven days fasting and prayer at the Bar Beach, he found his way to Mushin in Lagos where he founded what we now know as CHRIST APOSTOLIC MISSION CHURCH.
Baba Agbona remained the President and Founder of the church until 19th August, 2000 when the Holy Spirit directed him to appoint Pastor S. A. Ajayi (JP) as the President and Pastor J.B. Taiwo as the Vice President while he should retain the office of Founder. Being an obedient servant of the Most High, Baba did as directed, and on the 7th August, 2001 he went the way of the Saint.
Acts 10:37-38
You know what has happened throughout the province of Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached-how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good…
Origins in Galilee
Our mission is inspired by the beginnings of Jesus's ministry in Galilee, where He started His divine work following baptism.
The Baptism by John
Just as Jesus was baptized and embarked on His mission, we commit to a spiritual atmosphere of purity and faith.
Anointed with the Holy Spirit
Emulating Jesus, who was anointed with power, our church strives to empower each member to realize their God-given destiny.
Ministry of Goodness
Following in the footsteps of Jesus, who went around doing good, we aim to build up each member in the image of Christ to impact the world positively.

Our
History
The 2nd President, Pastor S.A. Ajayi (JP), took up the mandate as the Spiritual and Administrative head of the church. For smooth running of the the Mission, he was ably assisted by the Vice President, Pastor J.B. Taiwo (JP) since his appointment in 19th August, 2000 by the founder and on the 16th January, 2022 he also went the way of the Saint for eternity rest.
During his time as the Head of the Mission, God made a Covenant of Prosperity with the Mission in lieu to take the Mission to the greater level of prosperity and upliftment. His tenure brought tremendous increases and transformations to the church as members of the mission flourished numerically, financially and spiritually. For this, he was popularly called Baba Majemu Ibukun.
After his demise, the leadership of the mission led by the Holy Spirit passed over the mantle of leadership to our current Daddy, Pastor J.B. Taiwo as the President of the Mission till date.
